My Approach

I am a compassionate and open-minded therapist, bringing a friendly, easy-going, down-to-earth style that leaves room for both serious discussion and humor.  Believing that the client-therapist relationship is a critical component for healing, growth, and change to take place, I strive to create a non-judgmental and supportive environment where clients feel safe and comfortable.

My areas of focus include anxiety, sexual abuse and other traumas, body image and disordered eating, relationship issues, and general life adjustments.  I often use non-traditional approaches of mindfulness and meditation, yoga, and art and writing in the therapeutic process.

I would be honored to walk alongside you in exploring life's challenges, identifying what's truly important to you, and creating goals that may lead you to a more fulfilling life.  My hope is for you to achieve balance, to be at peace with yourself and your current situation, and to simply BE you.
