Compassion and calmness are guiding posts in my practice as I strive to build a strong client-therapist relationship. I believe creating an environment in which a person can feel safe and supported is critical to promoting true healing and growth.
Using both traditional and non-traditional approaches allows me to use a variety of avenues to work alongside my clients in their pursuit of living their fullest lives. I often incorporate expressive art, yoga and body movement, and mindfulness practices, as well as evidence-based techniques of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
My hope is for you to achieve balance, to be at peace with yourself and your current situation, and to simply BE you.
